FINED £100 FOR BOOKMAKING

PALMERSTON N± This Day.
Alfred James Dewar was fined £100 for carrying cm business as a bookmaker. The police said that £121' in bets had been taken. The accused had been before the Court previously in connection with Gaming Act offences.
