Mr. George George, who was director of technical education in Auckland from 1902 to 1922, has arrived in. Auckland on a visit from Sydney. Since he left Auckland in 1922 he has been associated with the motor trade in Sydney. .

A Press Association message iErrim Christchurch states that the Mayor, Mr. R. M. Macfarlane, M.P., whose application to the Man-power Committee for release from the postponed; date of entering camp had been granted, was today posted to the Army Service Corps for training at Trentham with the Fifth Reinforcements.
