The Reefton Trotting Club's Meeting commenced in fine weather after morning rain. There was a large attendiance. The course was soft. Results:— President's Handicap, £80; 3.49 class; 1£ miles.—l Allie Audubon, 36 (Motz), 1; 3 Windsor Lad, 12 (King), 2; 4 Sea, [Wolf, scr (Johnston), 3. All started. Neck: neck. Time, 3min 40sec. , Lewis Pass Handicap, £70; 3.5 class; 1£ miles.—2 Crackajack, scr (F. Frost),, 1; 3 Prince McElwyn, scr (L. Berkett), 2; 6 Because, scr (Yeatman), 3. Also started: 5 Flower Potts, 2 Liqueur (coupled with Crackajack), 4 Warline, Half a length; twelve lengths. Time, 2min 55sec. '
