DEATH OF M. KALLIO

LONDON, December 20,
M. Kallio, former President of Finland, died within a few hours of Dr. Ryti's election as President. He was inspecting a guard of honour at the Helsinki railway station prior to departing for his country estate to live in retirement when he suddenly collapsed.
