GERMAN SHIP CAPTURED
SCUTTLING ATTEMPT FAILS WASHINGTON, December 11. The Navy announced that the Dutch destroyer Yon Kinsbergen captured the German steamship Rhein after the crew had attempted to scuttle her. The Navy said it had not been informed of the exact location of the capture, but the 'Rhein was in the possession of the Dutch ship this morning off the Cuban coast." . s (British Official Wireless.) The British Admiralty says the attempt to scuttle the Rhein by her crew was frustrated by the prompt and gallant action of the Dutch boarding party. •
