INJURED ROUNDSMAN
The Compensation Court has awarded £212 to Percy William Phillips, a milk roundsman, employed by the City Milk Department, as compensation for injuries received to his right arm when he fell while holding a milk bottle in his hand on March 26, 1940.
One medicrj. witness stated that there was 25 per cent, permanent disability and the other assessed it at 20 per cent. The Court took the average of these two estimates and awarded damages on a basis of 224 per cent, disability.
Phillips was represented by Mr. C. J. O'Regan, and the Wellington City Council, as defendant, was represented by Mr. J. O'Shea and Mr. J. H. Marshall.
