CHINA PLEASED
FIRM STAND ENDORSED
(Received November 8, 9 a.m.)
CHUNGKING, November 7.
The Chinese Foreign Minister, Mr. Wang Chung-hui, said that the Chinese people were gratified at President Roosevelt's re-election, which showed that the American people endorse his firm stand against aggression.^ both in strengthening America's national defence and in rendering assistance to nations fighting for their liberty and independence. The Chinese deeply appreciated what President Roosevelt had done for the cause for which China was fighting.
