Townsend and Paul, Ltd., report the present ruling prices for live poultry on their market:—White Leghorns, hens 3s to 3s 9d each, cockerels Is to Is 4d per lb, pullets (best) 6s to 8s each, (others) 3s to 6s each; Black Orpingtons, hens (heavy) 4s 6d to 7s, (medium) 3s to ss, cockerels (heavy) Is to Is 4d per lb, (medium) Is to Is 4d; Rhode Island Reds, cockerels (heavy) Is to Is 4d per lb; ducks, Indian Runner (young) 5s to 8s each, (old) 3s to 5s each, white (young) 7s to 9s each, (heavy) 6s to 7s each; geese, 4s 6d to 8s; turkeys, Is Id to Is 3d lb; dressed poultry, boilers (heavy) 3s to 5s (light) 2s 9d to 3s 9d; chickens. Is to Is 2d lb; ducks, 4s 6d to 6s each; seese, 4s to 5s 6d; turkeys, Is to Is 2d lb.
