N.Z. WASTE PAPER
PROPOSAL TO SHIP TO
AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY, October 29.
Hopes that an arrangement will be made whereby considerable quantities of waste paper will be: shipped from New Zealand to Australia for. repulping were expressed by Sir Herbert Gepp. Government adviser on geophysical affairs, on his return from the Dominion today.
Sir Herbert added that \he had discussed with the New Zealand Minister of Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) the possibility of reducing the call on dollar funds by importing from Australia certain paper and cardboard products required, but not manufactured, in New Zealand.. . :. ;
