New songs performed in the irresist' ible Crosby manner, the second ap^ pearance of the gifted young singer Gloria Jean. and the addition of five of the most famous of old-time vaudevillians are features of Universal's new offering "'lf 1 Had My Way," starring Crosby and Gloria Jean, which comes to the De Luxe Theatre tomorrow. In the matter of tuneful melodies, eight songs are to bs heard. These are '"Meet the Sun Half Way," "I Haven't Time to Be r. Millionaire/ and "Pessimistic Character," performed as duels by Bing and Gloria; •'lf I Had My Way," a solo by Crosby, and "Little Grey Home in the. West," a solo by Gloria; "April Played the Fiddle," by Bing, and Eddie Leonard singing his always-remembered "Ida" and Blanche Ring singing her unforgettable "Rings on My Fingers." Good fast action, culminating in a thrilling race between two stagecoaches, characterises the latest adventure of the famous cinema cowboy, "Hopalong" Cassidy called •'Stagecoach War, which is the second feature. With William Eoyd in the role of Cassidy, the character created by Clarence E. Mulford. the cast of "Stagecoach War' includes such well-known figures as Russell Haydan, Britt Wood, and the King's Men of radio fame, and Harvey Stephens, .T. Farrell McDonald, Julie Carter, and many others, including the usual quota of hard-riding cowboys.
