TASMAN AIR SERVICE
TWO TRIPS A WEEK LIKELY
(By Telegraph-^Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Reference to a Sydney Press Association cable indicating that the Tasman air services might be increased from three trips a fortnight to two weekly was made by Mr. E. A. Robinson, Tasman Empire Airways traffic superintendent at Auckland, who said that while he had. not received official notification he would not be surprised if such an arrangement were made, as the company had a formidable waiting list. "Every flight is fully booked," he said. "Loadings to date and the traffic offering fully justify crossings twice weekly. There are several passengers on the waiting list, and to make sure of passages bookings are a month in advance. We take 14 or 15 passengers every trip, also mails and freight." Mr. Robinson said that Pan-Ameri-can passengers and freight for the Tasman crossing added to the acuteness of the problem. (The Sydney report is on page 8.)
