DRAUGHTING FOR GIRLS.
To cope with the demand for girls qualified in draughting to replace men who have joined the Forces, the Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College at Petone has opened evening classes for girls similar to those for men. Instruction in all branches will be available and the subjects covered1 include draughting fc* mechanical, ■ architectural; structural, and survey work, also lettering, tracing, photo copying, etc; Several offices in the Hutt Valley are already employing girls in this interesting work
