SOLDIER'S OFFENCE
Charles Edward Raymond Smith, a soldier, aged 32,, pleaded guilty before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrat's Court yesterday to obtaining £2 by a false pretence at Christchurch. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within three months, subject to restitution being made. Mr. E. R. Haldane appeared for the accused.
