"REVERSED"
THE GERMAN FIGURES
I (Received August 14, 2 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. The German news agency tonight claimed that 69 British planes were shot down, including 16 over Aalborg. It admitted thirteen German losses, and added: "The German raids have robbed Britain of her most important and most strategic air bases and seriously impaired the fighting power of an air force even as large as the R.A.F. No German bomber has so far been forced back before reaching his goal. The British fighters' attacking j spirit has noticeably decreased."
