JOCKEY'S APPEAL UPHELD

AUCKLAND, July 30.
The appeal of the jockey M. Ritchie to the Auckland District Committee against disqualification for three months imposed upon him by the judicial committee of the Matamata Racing Club for his riding of Makoi, who finished second in the Corbett Steeplechase at Matamata on July 20, was upheld.
