FINANCIAL AID

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —I was very pleased to see the announcement in your paper that Territorials are now eligible for soldiers' financial aid, but what about the men of the National Reserve? They are doing important work and are away from their homes all the time. They also have given up good jobs to do their bit for their country. The majority, if not all, are returned soldiers, with the same obligations as the fighting forces, or Territorials, and the same pay and dependants' allowances, so why not the same privileges? Some of us have a great struggle paying rent, insurance, etc.—l am, etc.,

FAIR DEAL,
