MR. DAVID DUNCAN

AUCKLAND, July 3,
The death has occurred of Mr. David Duncan, director of John "Chambers and Son, Ltd., after a short illness. Mr. Duncan was secretary of the company for 35 years. He was a fellow of the New Zealand Society of Accountants and also of the Australasian Institute of Secretaries. Born in Scotland, he came to New Zealand over 40 years ago. He was vice-commodore of St. George's Rowing Club and an officer of St. David's Presbyterian Church. Mr. Duncan was an enthusiastic Freemason and was a Past Grand Treasurer of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand. He was installed in February last as First Grand Principal of the Royal Arch Masons of New Zealand. There will be a Masonic funeral service tomorrow.
