COMPENSATION COURT
Claiming that he was permanently partially disabled by an injury to his left eye, received while working for the- Co-operative Dairy Producers' Freezing Co., Ltd., of Wellington, Cyril Eagle, a storeman, of Makara, sought an allowance from the company in the Compensation Court today. The injury occurred in May 1937 and from then until October 1937, during which time he was incapacitated, he was paid weekly compensation by the company The company admitted that the plaintiff was incapacitated while working for it and that it had paid compensation, but it denied everything else. Mr. Justice O'Regan adjourned the case sine die, and the Court is to obtain a report from a medical referee.
Mr. O. C. Mazengarb appeared for Eagle and Mr. T. P. Cleary for the company.
