LAST WEEK'S TOTAL
The recent increased rate of enlistment for service with the 2nd N.Z.E.F. continues to be reflected in the returns for the whole Dominion. Last week national enlistments increased by 3480 to 49,990. Of those recruits medically examined up to the end of the week 33,803 had been passed fit as against 31,621 a week earlier and 23,856 had been dispatched to camp compared with 22,735 on June 22. There were 5590 awaiting dispatch to camp and 1312 not immediately available for camp. The corresponding figures at the end of the previous week were 4755 and 1058 respectively. Details for the three military districts are as follows:—
