SENIOR FIXTURES
The following senior fixtures were announced for July 13:—First division: Poneke v. Marist; Hutt v. Wellington College Old Boys: Petone t. Oriental; Johnsonville v. University; St. Patrick's Old Boys v. Wellington; and Eastbourne v. Athletic. Second division: Petone v. Onslow, at Petone; Pirates v Athletic, at Wakefield; Marist v. Poneke (ground to be arranged); Miramar, a bye. Permission was granted the' Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College for their first and second - fifteens to play Horowhenua College at Levin on July 31, and to Scots College for their first fifteen to play Feilding Agricultural High School at Scots College on July 17 Marlborough College at Scots College on July 24, and to take part in the quadrangular tournament between Scots College, Wairarapa College, Dannevirke High School, and Hutt Valley High School, at Masterton, on August 17-19. The Victoria University Football Club advised that as i»ither the Central Hawke's Bay Kugby Union nor the Te Aute College Football Club were able to meet the travelling expenses of the Te Aute team for the proposed match with Victoria at Wellington, that match would have to be cancelled.
