CZECHS WELL RISE
MINISTER'S PREDICTION
(British Official Wireless.)
RUGBY, June 10.
"The people of Czecho-Slovakia will bide their time and when they see Germany begin to stagger under the strain of the war and when they judge the moment opportune they will rise as they did in the last war and strangle their temporary masters and once more erect a free country in the centre of Europe," said the Minister of Information, Mr. Duff Cooper, broadcasting to the Czech people.
The Allies, he said, had as their supporters not only all those nations that were still free, but all those peoples who loved freedom, of whom there were many millions in Czechoslovakia, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Holland, and Belgium, and indeed in Germany itself.
