FOR WAR FUNDS
RACING CLUB PROFITS
The following resolution was adopted at a meeting yesterday of'the stewards of the Wellington Racing Club:— "That as from the season beginning on August 1, 1940, the profits made by the club on each full year's operation be, for the duration of the war, donated to the war fund of the New Zealand Government or to patriotic funds approved by the committee."
