Although not productive of a high standard of.Bugby, the Oriental-St. Pat's Old Boj's" match at Anderson Park provided plenty of activity,'■• the forwards-in particular, waging a , keen battle. The honours-of the day went to I the Oriental forwards, who, to a man, worked untiringly from start to finish. - Their back division, although producing some good individual efforts, notably by Jack and Morgan, lacked combination. St Pat's Old Boys were the.better balanced side. . Todd led a hardworking pack but found Oriental a stiff proposition.' , The support by the back division was given capably. O'Connor, Poland, and Dance being conspicuous. -For Ori.en.tal tries were scored by Morgan and Randall, one being converted by Jack. For St. Pat's . Old BoysHutchison and McDonald scored tries, Todd converting \one. The result was: Oriental 8, St. Pat's College Old Boys 8. Mr. D, G. Kelly was the referee.
