APPEAL ENDORSED
INDUSTRY IN WARTIME
The appeal of the Minister of Labour (the Hon. P. C. Webb) for the full cooperation of all industrial organisations in the settlement of disputes in order to ensure the maximum output by industry under wartime conditions was given full endorsement by the Wellington Harbour Board last evening.
*"I take it that no resolution is necessary to assure the Minister, that we will do everything possible to co-operate in this matter," said Mr. J. W. Andrews. "All right-thinking people will do all they can to assist the Government and the Empire in this time of crisis."
The circular letter was "received" without further discussion.
