VETERANS PLEASED
At a meeting of the executive of the Wellington branch of the South African, War Veterans' Association on Thursday eulogistic reference was made to the playing of the band of the Cadet Battalion, Southland Eegiment, on Anzac Day. The band was' immediately in front of the South African veterans in the parade and they all claimed that the trumpets, bugles, and drums provided the best marching time they had experienced. It was agreed that a letter should be sent to Lieutenant Napier congratulating biro on his training of the boys.
