BROADCAST STATEMENT
(By Telegraph-Press Association.) ASHBURTON, April 20. Objection to a statement bjr tg Sl^^^oS^oS^. dertake to produce a greater quantity of foodstuffs, even if they incurred a loss in doing it, was voiced by the Mid-Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday. It was aJSed that a protest be sent to the Dominion executive for action.
