TERRITORIAL OFFICERS' COURSE
Thirty-five Territorial officers are. attending a "detail and duties" course at'the Central District School of Instruction, Trentham, The course commenced last ..Saturday and will conclude next "Saturday: It is one of the prescribed courses which Territorial 'officers'' of certain, ranks- must take before they are'eligible for promotion. The course is also designed to improve the ability of Territorial officers to impart instruction.
A derailment of the trailer of a passenger train on the Johnsorivill* line yesterday morning, though of a minor nature and not resulting in'injury or damage,- upset the train run* ning for some* time, but buses toolc up the service and little inconvenience was caused to "passengers.
