EASTER HOLIDAYS
STEAMER SAILINGS
Passenger bookings for Easter in the inter-island steamer service are exceptionally heavy this year, and a number of extra sailings have been added to the time/tables. In the Wellington-Lyttelton service there will be daylight sailings from | both Lyttelton and Wellington on Thursday, March 21, Friday, March 122, and Tuesday, March 26., and there will also be a sailing from both ports on Sunday, March 31. Apart from these sailings this service will be as usual, including Good Friday. In the Nelson seiSHce there will be two sailings from Wellington and Nelson on Thursday, March 21, from Wellington at 8.15 a.m. and 7.30 p.m.. and from Nelson at 8.15 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. On Good Friday the Arahura will leave Nelson at 8.15 a.m. and Wellington again at 7.30 p.m. Thereafter the usual time-table will be maintained In the Wellington-Picton service, the Tamahine will make two sailings from Wellington on March .21, at 12.15 p.m. and 11 p.m., and on March 26 she will sail at 10 a.m. From Picton she will sail at 10 p.m. on March 20. 7 a.m. on March 23, 6 p.m. on March 24, and 2.45 p m. on March 28, and other sai] ings will be as usual. After March 30 she will revert to her winter timetable. The Rangatira is to make her usual excursion trip from Wellington to Picton on Easter Monday.
