REGENT WEDDINGS
ARMOUR—STANLEY.
Two well-known families were linked yesterday by the wedding of Dr. Alice Grace Stanley, daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. V. G. Stanley, Khandallah, and Dr. John Norman Armour* son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Armour,' Invercargill The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Brian Kilroy. Both the bride and bridegroom have been practising their professions in Palmerston North.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a lovely trained gown of magnolia slipper satin. Her tulle veil wascaught by a topknot of water-lilies, and-, she carried a bouquet of delicate pink water-lilies to match. Her one bridesmaid, Miss Wynnis Armour. Invercargill. wore * frock of pink starched chiffon patterned in blue and white. The rosebuds in her hair matched those in tier bouuet.
'At the reception in the Grand Hotel euests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley, the latter wearing a hostess frock of cornflower blue georgette and a toque to match. Mrs. Armour wore a black silk iersey frock with gold ornaments, and a "black hat.
Dr. and Mrs. John Armour will make their future h6me in Palmerston North.
