SKETCH CLUB
Addressing the Wellington Sketch Club at the first meeting of 1940, Mr. W. B. Honour gave a talk on "Sketching and Making Use of Sketches." He dealt with the subject in a comprehensive and practical manner, discussing in detail equipment, aims, ideals, and technique. Mr, Honour strongly recommended his listeners to follow their natural reaction only when studying any avenue of approach. It was advisable to paiat the first subject which appealed 10 the artist. The use of sketches for working up a finished picture was also discussed.
