CLEARING THE LINE
NORTH AMERICAN BORDER
WASHINGTON, February 8.
Canada and the United States have jointly began to clear the frontier, specially in heavily-forested areas where the vista of the demarcation line is difficult in order to prevent the entry of spies and saboteurs. Canada also has increased her frontier patrol. Congress in Washington has approved funds for the clearance.
