RUGBY.—The Minister of Supply, Mr. Burgin, and the War Minister, Mr. Stanley, had an audience with the King this, evening.
RUGBY.—The King and Queen returned to Buckingham Palace today from Windsor, where they spent the weekend.
RUGBY.—Over £30,000 contributed by British people in all parts of the globe, has now been received by the Overseas League Tobacco Fund. This means 30,000,000 cigarettes for soldiers at the front, the Navy, and the Air Force.
LONDON.^A rise in the unemployment figures of 157,371 between December 11 and January 15 was almost wholly due to . bad weather. The January total of 1,518,896 was the smallest for twelve years. RUGBY. —The correspondence between Britain and Japfen over the Asama Maru incident will probably be published within the next few days.
