SET SAIL'S DAUGHTER
Sailing Lady registered another impressive performance when winning the Wairaki Handicap at the Wairio Meeting last Saturday in track record time of lmin 26 3-ssec, the previous best figures being Enwood's lmin 27sec three years ago. She came from well back over the last three furlongs and won going,away. It is not surprising that Sailing Lady should be making good on the race track, as she is a daughter of that fine Solferino mare Set Sail, winner of many good races frono. the far south to Trentham, " She is "how six years old and is by the Hurry On horse Lord Warden, who also sired the Wairio Cup wanner Heidelberg. Like Set Sail, she carries the jacket of Dr. J. E. Rogers, who bred them both.
