The women's auxiliary of the V.M.C.A.;. boys' department is. holding a street day appeal 6n Wednesday next, January 31, in support of the boys' work programme of the association. Despite the uncertain conditions which lie ahead it is felt that the Y.M.CA.'s endeavours on ' behalf of the youth of the city are even more important today x than ever and the members of the boys' auxiliary are hoping that their effort next week will meet wtih a large measure of public support. Unfortunately, at the . present time' quite a number of lady workers are not available, many being absent from the city on holiday. Accordingly the V.M.C.A. auxiliary wouid be grateful for offers of help from those who would be willing to assist actively with the collection boxes on Wednesday next.
