For stains on coloured fabrics a simple but effectual method is to squeeze some lemon juice on to the stains, which will disappear when the article is washed. Another method is
to dissolve a teaspoonful of oxalic acid in a teacup, of hot water; rub the stained part well with a rag dipped in the solution.
