NATIONAL ART GALLERY
The National Art Gallery has been crowded with visitors during the weekend. . The whole of the gallery is occupied with works from Great Britain and New Zealand's most prominent artists, and it is interesting to compare the different works. The Coronation picture is the centre of admiration, the whole being a beautiful arrangement of rich colour. His Majesty the King is the central figure and this is an amazing portrait of him. The Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose are seen very well and are in the Royal' box with other members of the Royal Family. There is much to interest and help in appreciation of art in the exhibitions and all should make sure of visiting th,e National Gallery while they are being held.
