SULLIVAN—WILSON.

A very pretty wedding of considerable interest was celebrated at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Wellington, on December 26, when Nora Mary, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wilson, Goring Street, Wellington, was married to Thomas Henry, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Sullivan, Stratford. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Walsh, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. The bride entered the church escorted by hey father, and was met by members of the Children of Mary, who formed a guard of honour for her, she for many years having been an active member of the Sacred Heart Sodality.

The bride wore a smart French model suit of silver grey and a small night blue straw hat wtih an attractive veil of a similar shade, three-quarter-length grey suede gloves, and grey shoes completing the outfit. She carried a prayer-book, and in addition wore a spray of orchids. The sister of the bridegroom, Miss Eileen Sullivan, was bridesmaid, and wore a powder blue frock and navy blue accessories, with a shoulder spray of pink roses. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Herbert Wilson, brother of the bride.

For the occasion the altar was beautifully decorated with lilies and pink gladioli by the Children of Mary, and Miss J. Milligan, who played the wed^ding march as the bride entered the church, also accompanied Miss Mary Warren, who gave a delightful rendering of Gounod's "Aye Maria" and Cesar Franck's "Panis, Angelicus," during the Mass.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where the guests were received by Mrs. Wilson, who was wearing a grey ensemble and. black accessories, and was assisted by Mrs. Sullivan, who wore a navy blue ensemble and accessorios to match.

Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan later left by car for the north.
