The 1040 Southern Hemisphere &ke'et championship, competed for' at Taita today by 17 shooters from all parts of the Dominion, was won by D. P. North (Whangarel), who scored 44 out of a possible of 50. Ho received £8 10s of the stake-money, and Mr. A. E. Robinson. (Auckland) received S4 ss. The scores, as a whole were not 'high.
