WEDDING
TREMEWAN—WIDDOP
The wedding took place quietly last Wednesday at St. Andrew's Church, of Helen Elisabeth, elder daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. F. C. Widdop, Kelburn, and Lieutenant Tremewan, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Tremewan, Lower Hutt. The service was conducted by the Rev. Brian Kilroy. The bride, who was escorted by Mr. G. W. Wyles,, wore a smart navy frock with a short navy and white jacket and a white hat with a blue veil. A shoulder spray of cream roses was also worn. Dr. James Watt was best man. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the home of the bride's mother.
Miss Dulcie Nicolson, younger daughter of Mr. H. Nicolson, J.P., and Mrs. Nicolson, Otaki. was entertained at a kitchen tea at the Mayfair on Saturday prior to her marriage which is to take place in January. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent and Miss Nicolson was the recipient of a large number of valuable and useful presents.
