NOTES FROM THE CLUBS

The shooting in the Pctoae Ladies' Club still continues to be of a high standard. Miss Scott has done particularly well, winning the C. B Wild Cup, covering seven monthly shoots off the gun, the Stickells Rose Bowl, and the Parrant Shield under the Lord Roberts system. During these competitions Miss Scott has registered two possibles and on many occasions has scored either 68 or 69. Miss Z. Hobbs, who is a comparatively new shot, has also done well, and won the Tisdall Cup. The Saunders Cup was won by Miss R. Hobbs. and the Belsham Cup by Mrs. Lambert. The following are the results of competitions Bred under the Lord Roberts system:—A grade: Neill Cup, Miss R. Hobbs; club trophy, Miss Z, Hobbs: B grade: Tisdall Cup, Mrs. Lambert; club trophy, Mrs. Jones. PETONE WORKING MEN'S CLUB. The Petone Working Men's Club held its annual prize-giving in the club rooms last weeU. There was a large attendance of members aad visitors.
