SPRINGFIELD GLOBE
The good Australian pacer Springfield Globe, a stablemate of Lawn Derby and winner of the interDominion championship last season in Tasmania, is an acceptor for the Ascot (Melbourne). Meeting this week. W. J. O'Shea announces that Springfield Globe is definitely coming to the Dominion to contest the major events at the Auckland Christmas Meeting. It is likely that Lawn Derby, while in the Dominion, will visit Hamilton and Auckland ancl attempt to make new course records in both centres.
