CENTENNIAL BALL.
New Zealand's first Centennial ball, particulars of which are advertised in this issue, will be conducted on Friday night at St. Francis. Hall by the Scottish Harrier and A.A. Club. This club has earned a reputation for its yearly dance, and this year's special . effort promises to be outstanding, with a banquet supper, a special ballet, and enjoyable novelties. The function -will be attended by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, and Mrs. Hislop.
