TRIPLETS BORN

AUCKLAND, September 5,
Satisfactory progress is being made by triplets born in Auckland Hospital on Monday night to Mrs. R. Blake. The children have been transferred to the Karitane Home, Mount Albert. They have already been named Margaret, Michael, and Anthony. Margaret is the heaviest, weighing over 51b, but her brothers are both over the 4ilb mark. - The journey from the hospital to the Karitane Home was made in a special basket in the ambulance. The babies were lying on a special mattress with hot-water bottles. Special precautions were taken to safeguard the infants during their transit from the ward to the ambulance. •
