WAIKATO MINERS
RESUMPTION OF WORK (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 3. A notice flashed on the screen in the Town Hall cinema at Huntly last night, and later pasted on the notice board in front of the building, announces that all miners concerned in the dispute regarding the dismissal by Glen Afton Collieries,. Limited, three weeks ago of an elderly employee; will resunie work "tomorrow. The notice further states that the member' concerned has been, reinstated. The secretary of the Northern toners* Union, Mr. T; Hall, refused to make any comment. The manager of Glen Afton Collieries, Mr. C. M. Richwhite, would not comment on the announcement of resumption of_work.
