ASSOCIATION FORMED
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
MASTERTON, August 25,
At an enthusiastic and largelyattended meeting held in Masterton last night it was decided to form a Territorial Association. The meeting was addressed by Captain B. Barrington, recruiting officer. Central Military District, who outlined the various ways in which the association could assist the local Territorials and drew attention to the success tha' had followed the formation of similar associations in other parts of New Zealand. Officers were elected as follows:— President. Mr. T. Jordan; secretary. Mr. G. T. O'Hara Smith; executive, Messrs. H. H. Daniell, V. E Donald, and P. H. Shaw, with power to add.
