Alexander Kerensky, aged 58, the former Russian Premier and dictator. was married to an Australian, Mrs. Lydia Allen Tritton, aged 33, of Brisbane. Kerensky obtained a divorce in Paris on June 29, and Mrs. Tritton was divorced in London in 1936 from another Russian, whose name was given only as Nayadin. « The couple are going to New York next week, and will stay with Mr. Kenneth Simpson, the Republican leader. They are to sail for France at the end of September, and will make their home in Paris. The bride is a student of Russian affairs. Mr. Harry A. Stein, an estate agent and a Justice of the Peace, who performed, the marriage, said a man wearing a monocle and carrying a cane arrived. accompanied by a pretty blonde. "I was thunderstruck when I found out who he was," he said, "and would not believe it until I saw his passport and divorce papers." M. Alexander Kerensky was formerly a barrister in Saratov. He took refuge in France and was made leader of the Russian Socialist-Revolutionary Party and manager of the Russian paper "Dni," published there.
