N.Z. TEAM IN AUSTRALIA
RESULTS OF MATCHES
(Received August 4, 10 a.m.)
ADELAIDE, This Day,
The touring New Zealand badminton team won its match against South Australia, who were outclassed, by six rubbers to one. The team's display was patchy and the players seemed to be tired as a result of the travelling they have done. The manager, the Rev. L. W. Austin, expects an improvement in the team's form.
The women's smashing, particularly by Miss M. Kerr, of Otago, was a revelation.
