ADELAIDE, This Day,
Setting a new course record of 72, the lowest score ever recorded in an Australian women's golf championship, and smashing the record of 76 that had been established by Miss B. Crago (New South Wales) only half an hour before, Miss Joan Lewis, the Victorian champion, with a total of 152, led the field in the qualifying rounds of the Australian women's championship at Kooyonga.
