APPOINTMENTS APPROVED
Thfe following appointments, etc., of officers in the Royal New Zealand Air Force are notified in the Gazette:— A temporary unit in the tJnited Kingdom is formed, to be called the New Zealand Squadron, with headquarters at the .Royal Air Force Station, Marham/ King's Lynn, Norfolk.
The following officers are granted short-service commissions in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for A period of five years on transfer from the Royal Air Force:—Flying Officers J. N. Collins and John Adams and Pilot Officer W. H. Coleman.
The following are granted shortservice commissions in the R.N.Z.A.F. for five years on appointment: —W. M. C. Williams and T. O. Freeman in the rank of pilot officer.
The following are granted commissions in the rank of flying officer in the R.N.Z.A.F. Reserve of Officers:— Donald Pool, L. E. Cook, and J. H. McFadden. '"
