WERAROA TRAINING FARM

(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., Thib Day. A propos.al that the Government should be asked to close the Weraroa Training Farm and use the land for market gardening purposes provoked some discussion at the monthly meeting of the Manawatu provincial executive of the Farmers' Union. The Levin branch pointed out that the Government was set on obtaining land in the district for market gardening, and this would solve its problem. It would also meet the objections of the Levin residents to having the training farm in their midst. The matter was referred back to Levin Avith the suggestion that the Levin Farmers' Union co-operate with the Ohau branch as both were concerned in the proposal.
